Works like any other, but.

When assembled the blade cover appeared to be wrong, it is slightly larger than the motor shaft it was meant to attach to. I contacted Holmes support about this; Yes, a design flaw from the start. Otherwise, I like to have a fan that is larger than most desktop fans. In the highest level it is 52 inches.
