Great replacement for corkscrew spools
My old corkscrews had a bad habit of pushing the cork through the bottle. In the course of research I found out that this is probably due to wear on the coil. So I decided to buy this set of 3 replacements to see if changing the coils would make a difference. Of course, after replacing the coils in two of my corkscrews that weren't working properly, I had no problem popping the cork. It looks like you should replace your coils every year if you open a lot of bottles. If you ever find your corkscrew pushing through the cork, you know it's time to pop the spiral!
