Works great on a 2012 rMBP Thunderbolt port!

This cable works great on older Macs with 1st Gen Thunderbolt ports. No problem. I can't speak with audio because there is no audio on my monitor. So I'm not sure if there's a way to get sound through them from macOS. But the picture is fine and the monitor's native resolution was determined without any problems. I recommend.
