These sandals are made from a very tough material and will not bend. The soles don't flex with your feet when you walk, which makes walking a bit painful. In fact, the soles are so hard that you can't bend them with your hands without using a lot of effort. The upper straps are also stiff and cut at the top of the foot. I should have believed the reviews before I bought it.
