There were no instructions in the box so will have to return to the product on Revain. The vest is very light but a bit cheap like the material. It's easy to set up. Hand straps are good. They are soft so don't hurt and conform well. The key is attached to the adult's wrist, so you have to remove part of the wrist to unlock the child's wrist. Depending on the child, they can still slip out of the wrist. Basically I got this for my wrist to use while walking or in the store. With everything that's going on in the world, I wanted reassurance that I could stay in touch with my child even when we're not holding hands. He likes wearing it very much. It's not humiliating at all. It's just a way of keeping your kids close and safe but being able to be outside for a bit. I don't think I will ever use a vest on my son, but I will definitely use wrist wires.
