Update: I love this stuff! After initial success with the two lightbulbs mentioned below, I tried this product on some plastic items around the house. My HP laptop's touchscreen now has a glossy finish that is fingerprint resistant. The keyboard and case also responded well. The plastic buttons, clear plastic display, and even the anodized metal bezel on my 30-year-old Sony receiver look like they just came from the factory. So far, everything Novus 1 has touched has resulted in an instant improvement. Excellent material! - Initial Review - I purchased Novus #1 to clean the clear acrylic sleeve of a Panton VP Globe reproduction that had developed a striped, wavy film on the inside over years of storage. Looks like it wasn't cleaned properly beforehand. The swirls aren't very visible when the lights are off, but are very distracting when the lights are on. The product is easy to apply and quickly restores acrylic crystal clarity and body smoothness. I've also used Novus #1 on Lucite fins on a vintage chrome table lamp with great results. This too gave them back a fresh shine and made them as smooth as an acrylic ball. I would also like to add that Novus customer service is excellent. Before proceeding to clean an item as clumsy as this globe, I emailed them using the link on their website to find out which of their products works best for removing acrylic inner curls, as they would be very noticeable when the light was on if it were to shine through. Rather than selling and offering 1 and 2 of the full 1,2,3 product (which I had considered for internal polish), they recommended getting a bottle of 1 first and using it multiple times. Looks like you're right about your suggestion. Recommended product! :D
