Lamp base was heavier than I expected and looked great. It was a present for my son. I'm glad I ordered it early enough to realize it didn't have a bulb. I read the description again and analyzed my check. Nothing to say there are NO bulbs in the kit and all photos show an Edison bulb. In fact, it's in the object's name. I felt cheated. But since I had no idea what size and style of Edison bulbs I really needed, I ordered a set of bulbs from the same company, thinking they would sell bulbs that matched the bulb. Oddly enough, I didn't get the pears. . I have a great big porch pendant light that should also hold an Edison style bulb - I mean BIG. 18 inches long and 8 inches wide. It must be fixed to the wall with a wire. It is healthy. Check the order number and description again. It's not my fault, I actually ordered a set of 6 bulbs for about the same price as a porch lamp. At this point, it was only a few days before Christmas, so my husband had to shop around for lightbulbs at a local store. Both lamps are made of metal and appear solid. But not what I thought I ordered. I'm probably done with this company as I don't have time to get so worked up about it. I don't know how they work because I don't have them anymore. I've probably finished ordering from this seller, but if I just want to see what happens, pick up the style of the bag, maybe I'll try again sometime. You just can't hang on to the result.
