Excellent reliability - works well when connected to Lightroom at high volume, records all day on location - never lost signal between camera and laptop all day, it was much more expensive than the regular black cable, but you get what you pay for. (I wish it was cheaper, though!) My only complaint is that it was spinning heavily on the ground the entire time I was actively filming, and I tripped pretty much as I used to with our regular black cords because it coiled up . often underfoot.
