I needed a monitor with a higher refresh rate for casual gaming. mostly fps. I indulged myself with the 27-inch 60Hz model and when this 27-inch 144Hz model came out I grabbed it. As long as I like it especially for the price. I was disappointed with the color depth when I first plugged it in. The entire display looked a bit blurry in Windows 10 compared to my old Samsung display. However, I searched for "advanced display options" in Windows and found that it runs at 60Hz by default. I bumped it up to 144Hz and it kinda made the colors look deeper and more realistic. Color depth is now similar to my Samsung display, except for a much higher refresh rate. If you're frustrated by the blurriness of the new display, check what refresh rate it's running at. I've tried playing games and so far very happy. I can't use the Freesync feature because I have an NVidia GPU and I don't want to pay for G-Sync. However, I did have V-Sync enabled in the games I played and had absolutely no screen tearing and excellent responsiveness with no noticeable FPS drop. And 144Hz is a significant improvement over 60Hz. Another note: there is virtually no physical bezel on the top and sides of the monitor. About a quarter of an inch from the edge of the display, however, there don't seem to be any real pixels on the top and sides, giving it a sort of 'soft' bezel. I don't really care as I just wanted a 27-inch monitor with a higher refresh rate than mine, but be aware that the display doesn't really reach the virtually non-existent edge when plugged in. The material appears to be matte/matt, as does the screen itself, so there is no noticeable reflection from any surface of the monitor, which is another plus. Overall I'm very happy with this monitor, especially considering the price. I paid for it.
