The bag itself is fine. "Alien" buckle it NO. If you're looking for a bag to hold heavy items like tools and position it so that the bag is fully supported by the straps, then this isn't the bag for you. I have a pocket to put your wallet, cigarettes and glasses in, it attaches behind the windshield and is held over the forks. It works great for the way I installed it and I haven't put any more weight into it. If you were going to use this bag for heavy items, it would DEFINITELY have to be set up so that the weight is resting entirely on something solid, like the rear fender behind the bar or something.
