Cable for iPhone or iPad with new USB-C connector

As I already said, not so long ago I became the owner of a brand new Apple power adapter, thanks to which you can charge your iPhone or iPad very quickly. However, in order to use this wonderful device, the consumer needs another device, as the manufacturer has made changes to the seemingly standard design and today the native and familiar USB connector is becoming a thing of the past, giving way to a miniature USB-C connector. The original USB-C to Lightning from Apple is sold in a miniature box with a recognizable design. The standard warranty period for Apple accessories is 1 year, while the manufacturer claims 3 years of service life. Instructions for use in the box and other information, everything is detailed. The cable inside is neatly packed and fixed. My USB-C to Lightning cable is 1 meter long. If necessary, you can also purchase a 2-meter analogue, but it will cost almost 2 times more. The usual meter is enough for me, so I didn’t even think about buying a second one. And here is the USB-C connector itself. As you can see, it has become much more compact than the old USB, quite a bit larger than Apple's Lightning. The USB-C to Lightning cable is best used for its intended purpose, such as connecting an Apple device with a Lightning connector to devices with a USB-C connector for syncing or charging. Or, as in my case, the Lightning USB-C cable can be used to charge an iPhone or iPad using a power adapter (18W, 20W, 29W, 30W, 61W, 87W, or 96W), as well as fast charging some models, supporting this functionality. I use a Lightning USB-C cable with a 20 W power adapter and my iPhone 8, which supports fast charging, charges in about an hour (of course, the time depends on many factors, such as how many and what applications are running, whether I use the Internet, WI-FI and bluetooth, talking on the phone and so on). The cost of an Apple Lightning USB-C cable 1 meter long today is 1990 rubles - like all Apple products, the price is far from democratic. Well, you have to pay for quality, everything is as always here. The USB-C to Lightning cable from Apple suited me in all respects, as it met all expectations. From myself I rate it 5 stars and recommend it for purchase. I thank all readers for their attention and wish only successful and pleasant purchases. Take care of yourself and your loved ones! And see you again!

Pros
  • Works as advertised, one year warranty
Cons
  • Perhaps the imposition of "necessary" accessories, because the new adapter is useless without it
