Well insulated, but easy to work with. Ran a distance of over 150 feet from Sonos receiver (16 ohm) to two Klipsch AWR-650 outdoor speakers (8 ohm each). Audio quality is excellent with no static or drop out considering the distance.Two lines fit snuggly within 3/4" conduit making it relatively easy to pull wire through, though I'd have no worries about direct burial if that was the only option.Will purchase again for next outdoor audio project.

First things first.The quality of the product is great. Not your average speaker wire. This is a direct burial rated wire and as a result the outside sheet is hard to take of without damaging the interior conductors. Need to be patient and use a sharp blade. I managed to get a hang of the process by practicing with the wire before installation. Found out that by bending the wire and cutting right on the bend was the best way. Once more great quality but a little tricky to work with.

Was needing wiring to match the existing in this fixture my client purchased. It was installed on a 20' ceiling and each of the 10 heads had to be extended down so they could be reached easily. Each head was extended down from 3' to 6' added the the existing 4' of fixture wire, giving it the staggered appearance. Splices were soldered and individually insulated; then covered with black heat-shrink tubing to blend the two cables.

Designed for outdoor use, specifically being buried, the insulation is super thick and durable. Can be used as indoor speaker wire in places where the wire would be under carpet or tape. Highly resistant to wear and tear. Would make great speaker cables for a DJ.

As others have said it's a little difficult to get the outer layer removed. This outer layer will protect the wire and seems very durable. I found razor knife worked well. This is good speaker wire and I will be buying more to wire speakers throughout my cabin.

I used this wire to 12 marine grade speakers on our pontoon boat. The OFC wire and extra insulation have performed well. May not be suitable for low impedance setups..

Bought this to run speaker wire through the basement for the 1st floor rooms. The exterior is very durable but easy to work with. I wish I had a better tool for extracting and separating the +/- wires at the terminals though. It was pretty tricky even with standard wire cutters.

Purchased the 100 ft. black CL3 rated wire and had absolutely no issues with installation or quality.This needed to bent around a few 90 degree corners. Keep in mind that this is a 14 AWG gauge, so it can't be bent too much, but the turn radius was small enough to where it wasn't an issue.It is also extremely helpful that there are markings every foot.

My only problem with this product is because its sealed in the outer cover its very hard to strip the outer layer without nicking the inter wires.

I ran 4 zones of outdoor speakers (2 zones on north and south side of the deck, 1 in the back yard and 1 in the front yard). 3 of the zones required 2x 50' cables, and 1 required 2x 80' cable. All 4 zones worked flawlessly! These cables were easy to work with using a standard wire cutter and wire stripper. I used banana plugs for ease of use! Now my yard rocks harder than any other in the neighborhood!

Overall, happy with the purchase. Stripping the wires wasn’t quite as easy as Audioquest wire, but for the money it is a good product. Ran two 100ft runs from garage to exterior deck and Klipsch AW650s sound great.

Nothing to dislike about this item. The oxygen free cables provided clear signal to my speakers. I can hear instruments like never before.

I needed a bunch of sturdy wire for a ceiling speaker job I was doing and this seemed to fit the bill. The wire is very sturdy and the individual wires are well insulated from each other. almost too well.The spindle came damaged and the wire was falling off of it, but the wire itself wasn't damaged. This probably happened in transit, but the cardboard spindle it comes on isn't all that sturdy, in case that matters to you.I would happily buy this product again.

This is the real deal as far as speaker cable, the high quality stuff and the price is very good. The material is thick, so if you are used to using CCA, this is nothing like the thin little wires you usually see. You'll need more patience and trial and error, but you won't have to worry about sound issues due to your cables. It's a trade off.

Great speaker wire. Sheathing is a little difficult to peel back but that's to be expected. Wiring is very flexible and works great for my car audio system. Looks like it would work well for outside a house too.

I am using this as speaker wire on my Harley. As most know the most annoying part of dealing with that is putting the front Fairing back on. I chose this wire because it has a putter coating that would also combat vibration pinching speaker wires!

Very good cable, the material is of good quality and so is the cooper wire. It is not very hard, nor is it very flexible. so it is easy to install it.

Excellent product, well made, very easy to work with. I used a coax cutter to cut the outer jacket off once the wire was run to the speakers. If you are going to run speaker wire behind sheetrock,(wall or ceiling) use this full copper wire, instead of the cheaper version, of aluminum cladded copper.

The wire strands are very fine, which makes for very flexible cable. Pulled easily through 15 joists in my basement to run the rear channel speakers for my surround setup. The fine strands also made it very easy to attach closed screw type banana jacks. Very happy with my purchase!

This is better wire than the outdoor speakers I bought it for has. It is CL3 rated and clearly is the quality of the standard.
