Packaged well, built better, advertised properly.

Well, poo. I misread and did not catch that it was limited to 60Hz. I will however inform the reader that these are built to last, they have an easy locking mechanism (so many are ridiculously hard to remove) and the item is advertised for anyone with the patience to read farther down the list. I missed the 60Hz limit, but other than this, they operate perfectly fine.Unfortunately, I need 75Hz and have ordered another set and will return these. Fret not, if you need 60Hz, these are a great buy…

Pros
  • Works great for those laptops that have a display port but don't have an HDMI output jack!
Cons
  • Overpriced for a simple cable

Worked to connect a monitor to a dock

What more can I say? I had an HDMI monitor that I needed to hook up to a docking station that only had DisplayPort. I used it two different ways: directly connecting the monitor to the dock and connecting the monitor to the dock via a KVM switch. Both methods functioned as they should. Although, I will say that I get some occasional drop of the display. But it's just for a second or two, and I'm about 80% sure that it's the KVM switch that's causing it and not the cable itself.

Pros
  • I like it works great
Cons
  • Cable length may be too short for some configurations

UPDATED: It’s a good cable for what you get

UPDATE 1/2/2022: I’ve been using the cable some more for several months, and it turns out it was the computer. It doesn’t do that anymore, even with the same computer. Even though it doesn’t feel very premium, and it doesn’t seem like it will last.Since I first got this cable, it has been having issues. When the computer I’m using this with is starting up, it would send a widescreen image, but the cable would cut off the widescreen part and display an old-style 4:3 image. Then, I restarted this

Pros
  • INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE - The DisplayPort male to HDMI male cable supports resolutions up to 1920x1080@60Hz (1080p Full HD) including 720p, 1600x1200, 1280x1024 for high definition monitors or projectors; And also supports audio transmission with uncompressed digital 7.1, 5.1 or 2 audio channels. Gold plated DisplayPort connector resists corrosion and abrasion and improve the signal transmission performance; Molded strain relief increases cable durability
Cons
  • Susceptible to interference from neighboring electronic devices

Works great! good for me

I needed 2 monitors for homework. They were both HDMI but the graphics card in my PC only had one HDMI slot and 3 of the Display Port slots. So this cable fit great on the HDMI monitor and just right on the Display Port slot on the PC graphics card. And the card recognized both and automatically set them up to both monitors. I did go into settings to switch monitor sides but that was easy and everything works great.

Pros
  • very little to no lag. does its job.
Cons
  • Not suitable for gaming consoles

cannot believe the cheek of it, some of my fellow customers are leaving this 1 star because it's not HDMI.Yeah, it's not HDMI, It's Display Port. Nowhere on the entire page does it call itself HDMI!If you're looking for HDMI here, you're a muppet.****This is Display Port to VGA, not HDMI to VGA****Right, now that that's out of the way, I can talk about the cable itself. It's long, seemed sturdy enough to me, and it delivers a perfectly adequate picture to my third monitor in my setup. It arrived

Pros
  • Does the job nicely.
Cons
  • May cause electrical noise

Exactly What I Needed

I couldn't get both of my HP computer monitors (2) to work with a Dell docking station with USB and HDMI. Switched to these DisplayPort to HDMI. Success! Very happy with this purchase

Pros
  • Worked great for me.
Cons
  • Older HDMI-enabled televisions and monitors may not be compatible

Works in one direction only

Totally my bad for not reading the product description. I was looking for an HDMI to DP cable to connect my Raspberry Pi (HDMI port) to a monitor with only VGA and DisplayPort input. This cable does NOT work in that configuration. I gave 4 stars because in looking at the description and icons on the site they TRY to be clear in what it does, but I didn't give 5 stars because they do not say CLEARLY (at least to me) that it ONLY works one way.Disappointed in Best Buy search as well. I did the…

Pros
  • Works perfectly. No issues
Cons
  • Limited documentation included

Cable works quite well!

When I upgraded my graphics card, I didn't check the outputs on the back. My current two monitors only have DVI and HDMI inputs and the card only has one HDMI and three Display port outputs. Working with just one monitor for about week was not easy! I could also have gone with a HDMI to DP adapter but I figured I might as well just get the six foot cable since the price was about the same. It has been working quite well and I am very happy with this purchase!

Pros
  • This cable works as advertised. I would buy again.
Cons
  • Bulky connector may not fit in tight spaces

Works Perfect, if the operator is smarter than the tool.

If this is the cable you need, it'll work perfect. if you get the wrong one, it won't. That's up to the human, not the cable. Don't be stupid and everything will be ok. Guess how I know :D

Pros
  • The new security system feed works great
Cons
  • Not shielded properly against interference

Great, remember size is size.

i got the 3 foot cable, there was no trouble at all when i first got this for my gaming set up. it was amazing to have a dual monitor set up. but i have to order a new cable for the single reason its so short. if you dont know what size to get please get out a measuring tape. i thought three feet was alot longer then it actually is.

Pros
  • Did what it was suppose to do.
Cons
  • Only supports one monitor at a time

I Haven't had a single issue with this cable

I use this all the time (pretty much every other day for several hours a day) to display my laptop screen onto my tv. At first I bought an HDMI to HDMI (both ends connect to an HDMI port) but then I realized for some reason my laptop has a DisplayPort instead of an HDMI port, so I bought this. It's reliable and there is no noticeable lag or drop in picture quality as data is transferred between my laptop and the tv screen. I've tried it on a number of different televisions and it works perfectly

Pros
  • I enjoyed
Cons
  • Slow data transfer rates

Good adapter best in my review

We buy large numbers of adapters, and these have worked great. We keep these on hand as they are roughly 4x as expensive at Best Buy.

Pros
  • ‎Projector, Monitor
Cons
  • May be difficult to connect through tightly spaced port arrangements

High Quality DisplayPort Cable

Ordered a couple of these for my kids M900 ThinkCentres since they only ship with DisplayPort and overall they've worked great! In terms of build quality, they're sturdy. No issues with the ends of the cable separating like what you might find in a cheaper cable. Picture quality is also great. No issues at all.

Pros
  • good
Cons
  • No reversible connector feature

Best price for a quality item

Purchased a similar item from Best Buy and got rob on price. Thank you for having this item with great quality and lower cost.

Pros
  • It worked.
Cons
  • No support for HDR

Good value - and a warning tag too!

Changing computers I pulled on my cable at the DisplayPort end. It wouldn't move so I pulled harder. End result: I tore the cable out pf the connector. Needed pliers to get the connector out of the video card. Cable ruined, so I ordered from this company. At the DisplayPort end of the cable (see picture) is a yellow warning tag saying push hard on the "release tab" when removing the cable,The makers of this cable spent a few pennies more to add this warning tag Surprisingly this safer cable…

Pros
  • works well, connects to the tv
Cons
  • Highly susceptible to signal degradation

I have 2 Samsung 27 inch monitor connected to a Lenovo docking station. The docking station only have 3 video connections: a DVI, a VGA and a DsiplayPort.I already use the DVI connection for one of the monitor. The monitors only have the choices between DVI, HDMI and VGA.So, I was already using the DVI connection for the first monitor, I was forced to use the VGA connection for the second monitor. I live with the poor VGA connection for years with some horizontal artifacts. Then I suddenly…

Pros
  • I tried so many cables to connect my docker and monitor. This one works in a breeze!
Cons
  • Poor customer service reputation

Best price point - competitive product

I needed an HDMI cord in a pinch to link my monitor to my PC for academic research. I use a dual screen setup and so speed, convenience, and reliability are important. This cord was the best priced for what I wanted, and had great reviews. Several months later it is good as new, and I highly expect it to last for years. Great deal tbh

Pros
  • Popped this in for a second laptop and works swimmingly!
Cons
  • No braiding or strain relief to protect cable

Good replacement on my review.

I broke the one supplied by my employer. I was trying to take it out of the hub, and didn't realize it had some tabs I needed to press in, to remove it. So I couldn't use my external monitor. Then I ordered this, and I have my monitor back!

Pros
  • Excellent quality, working perfectly.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to remove from devices
