I have 2 Samsung 27 inch monitor connected to a Lenovo docking station. The docking station only have 3 video connections: a DVI, a VGA and a DsiplayPort.I already use the DVI connection for one of the monitor. The monitors only have the choices between DVI, HDMI and VGA.So, I was already using the DVI connection for the first monitor, I was forced to use the VGA connection for the second monitor. I live with the poor VGA connection for years with some horizontal artifacts. Then I suddenly realized I could connect the DisplayPort of my docking station to the HDMI input of my second monitor. Now, I hate myself for not thinking about this solution earlier. Perfect image with no artifact out of the box.
