D1S 35W 6000K Xenon HID Headlight Replacement Bulbs (2 Pack) Review

I know it may be a bit too early to leave a review but so far so good! I changed both lamp and the luminosity is better then the original beam I had. You can not beat the price! Even if they last only one year I'll be happy. I was looking to pay at least $150.00 for brand name. I only needed one but i replaced them both. The spear one is one I bought about a year ago for which i paid $96.00.

Product looks like its the perfect match, but unfortunately I'm not able to tell untill I fit the unit and test it. I will let you know as soon as I install it.

So far so good, I have had them for over a month and they work great. They were an exact fit for the factory bulbs, but are a littler higher intensity which I like. I will update the review if they burn out pre-maturely but so far they are great and were one eighth the cost of the bulbs at the store.

The local auto parts store wanted $100 for one! So we took the chance that this 2 pack would work for us and it did! It fit our car perfectly and was exactly what we needed. And we still have the other one available for when the other headlight goes out.

Bought in Dec 2018, RIP in Nov 2022; both of them at the same time. I thought it would last a little longer :-( Can create uneven light patterns on the road.

One of my headlight bulbs gave up and I went to BMW for a quote, I could not believe the price, I browsed Ebay website and found it triple the price less and am very happy. The item works very good and more bright than the car's original. Thank you Mr seller.

A much better price than what the service department wanted for this, worked perfect and took like 30 seconds to swap out from old one.

After ten years, one of the factory HID bulbs in my car began to turn "pink", and I am sure the other one was not giving 100% light output since HIDs fade with age. Great product. I love it and perfect match. Not too difficult to install, just be careful NOT to touch the bulb itself. I replaced both bulbs, (blown one and working one) just to make sure both bulbs are a perfect match. Not any issues to this point and I have had them in for a few weeks.

I'm glad I ordered 4 bulbs. First one quit in first 30 minutes of use. Second quit within 2 hours and was on the opposite side. I've had the remaining 2 bulbs in it for 4 days now and check them every time I leave the house. They are working so far but I don't have much faith in them. Cheap is what you pay for them and cheap is what you get. I thought I would take a chance.

They work great. Came in time and the only problem I had was with my 2006 passat i had to take the bumper off and take the headlights out to instal them but YouTube helped out with that. Now I know my ballast is shot but no biggy I can find one in the junk yard

After a recent new to me car I noticed the headlights would warm up and were extremely DIM. Having been a full time mechanic for years I knew the bulbs had to be replaced. New OEM bulbs are just insane ranging from 300-400$ each which just insane. These are a fraction of the price and of the exact same quality. I bought these because they were a drastic discount from the OEM headlight. They installed OK. They were a little harder to install that the originals. I do t know if it is because of the color that I got or what but they are not near as bright as the originals. Maybe it disgraced I got more of a blue tint. Perfect fit for my 08 Chrysler T&C. Wish I could say it was a fast install. Nothing to do with the product, my hand doesn’t fit the tight nooks and crannies of the engine compartments.

Stay away from those expensive bulbs. I'm glad I invested in these. I put them in my girlfriend's Camaro months ago and still going strong. Already worth my money.

I ordered these on a whim for my 2006 Audi A4 quattro with Xenon auto cornering headlights because the bulbs were flickering. Upon opening the package and inspecting these, they appeared to be identical to the original Philips XenStart D1s 35w bulbs, housing is identical and even down to the stickers on the housing, the only difference is they dont say "Philips" and "XenStart". Affordable alternative that work well and as described. Only complaint would be how they install. If you have a wire clip holding the bulb in it works very well. My car uses the black ring below the bulb to twist and lock in place. The more expensive Sylvania bulbs will twist and lock in very nicely, these unfortunately are very difficult to twist and lock in because of the cheaper black plastic design instead of the metal used on the more expensive bulbs.
