as other reviewers noted, the terminal ends were loose on arrival. a quick spin tightened them.They look fantastic and cant be beat for a nicer cable than your standard wire. I cant believe i went this long without banana plugs!As for sound, its wire, it works. Music comes out. I don't care what other reviews say, there is no difference in sound between these and a coat hanger. You want something a bit more than just wire? this is your stop.

The sleeve to the connector keeps falling off. No matter how much I tighten it continues to loosen. The Media Bridge speaker cable is a much better cable, lower in price, the sleeve stays put, and they even put the color RED into the sleeve that makes it easier to see when you down in there in the dark and trying to figure out what color goes where. Aside from this it's still a good cable.

While arranging my sound system I discovered that the speaker cables were now too short so I needed either an extension or a new longer one. I opted for the 10 ft. Gear It cables. These cables arrived in a single bag with the ends wrapped and secured for protection. I was first concerned being I was not able to see if it was one or two cables.After I removed the cable from the bag one end pulled off and it was both my cables together. For $13 for the 3 foot cable this is a great value. Unfortunately the banana plugs did not match on the pair I ordered. Also the caps would frequently loosen when handling the cables.I ended up purchasing the amazon cables. Those were 16 gauge , but not an issue at 3 feet .I am using these cables to connect a wall plate to a bluetooth amplifier

This cord is sturdy with a very nice jacket on 14g wire with banana plugs at both ends. It's a single cable to so get two for stereo speakers. I found that they actually cleared up the midrange on my old speakers and added definition to the highs. My old cord was a 16g wire that had, over the years, developed some oxydation. I would recommend this cable to anyone looking for a good quality banana plug tipped cable. They look way better than the old wires did.
