Good but a bit pricey, you need portability for laptop use to justify it.

You can call me a dual monitor expert, maybe not as savvy as some gamers, but as a test programmer in the truck and automotive industries, I've been using dual monitors since 2005. It took a while for Windows PCs to catch up with screen tricks to save screen real estate. Using multiple tabs and background overlays helps. However, you often need to review the documentation at the same time as you run it. In my last position we used two 24 inch monitors and a laptop to run the debug script. I don't like some games that require multiple screens, so my high-end laptop doesn't need them. One of my desktop computers was needed. When needed I have used a 42 inch flat screen TV and TV card to play movies or videos on one screen while working on the other. I ditched this old medium res monitor a long time ago and it didn't go well with a Dell monitor from circa 2005. I used my other desktop with a thinner screen and it worked fine with this machine, plus it was Windows 10 and not 7. I found it had a nice and clear picture, but these days I'm used to using the 4K laptop with screen. and while smaller screens tend to look a bit sharper, it's still 1080p, so it's not worth the price. For the money I was expecting some special features, or at least 4K display capability, or is it basically an expensive little second monitor. That said, the only difference with this type of usage is that you need a second screen for work on the go, at the hotel, or at a remote location away from a desktop setup. For that, I give a moderate recommendation: get a second monitor for home use or a dedicated office space, or look for better alternatives.
