This VeePeak BLE+ completes my search for a good Bluetooth OBD2 scanner. I have tried several ELM 327 adapters as well as some proprietary devices with their own software. Having not found a company that makes an application that does everything I need I keep coming back to the ELM 327 system and have finally found an adapter that works great, easy to plug in, stays connected, supports many applications AND works with Bluetooth on iOS. VeePeak OBDCheck BLE+ is a great scanner at a great price. Does not heat up, does not drain the battery. Many of the big app authors support this device outright, as opposed to some very cheap imitations of the ELM 327. It feels good and even comes with a nice case. I am a mechanic who has used many professional scan tools and this suits my needs in most situations, especially in terms of convenience. What they say is "the best scanner to have with you when your car breaks down". It's small, moves easily, and connects to the devices you already carry almost anywhere. I am using Car Scanner Pro and OBD Fusion which support this device directly.
