Bought for sun protection while driving. In doing so, they seem to work as hands don't burn and don't sunbathe while driving. I can't speak for sure about the UV protection though as since I've had it it's been mostly cold and rainy and I don't leave the house due to the pandemic outbreak. The gloves are light and comfortable (for summer riding) and the thumb and forefinger guides work well on my iPhone 8 Plus. The grips on the palms are ideal for steering. I really like driving gloves and they turned out to be the perfect choice!
