These solar chargers work like clockwork. I've always hated climbing my ladder to get around the house to take out and charge batteries, especially in high traffic areas where this was a weekly chore. I decided to give it a try and my only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. My batteries in my Arlo cameras stay fully charged and I don't think they've dropped below full charge yet. Installation is very simple, only a ladder and a drill are required. A great investment so far! It's worth noting that I only had them for about 1.5 months. Also, I live in Colorado and haven't seen them in action in cold weather.
