My bike water bottles are made of camelbak and are durable and last for years. So it was a natural selection for hydration while running. I've had it on multiple runs from 4 to 12 miles. Not enough to hit the 12 mile mark as I ran out of water on the last mile. However, I drink a lot of water when cycling and running because I sweat a lot. So depending on your fluid intake, it may take longer. At the same time, it fits my large frame, is very comfortable and easy to use. However, storing a hydration nozzle while running is a tricky task.
