Quality looks promising, this thimble will last forever. FYI, this is not an easy tool for sewing or patching holes, rather a somewhat tight one. This is a new tool for me, so at least I can write for now. I'm glad to have a thimble to protect against unwanted needle sticks as that can't always happen. :) PSI measured the circumference of my middle finger and used a ruler to measure the first and second ends of my middle finger which was 50.1cm (±0.1). So 52mm = size 6 thimble. Search the internet for a thimble chart for precision and accuracy when measuring.
