Yes, this toothpaste tastes and feels different from your favorite toothpaste. But after a few uses you get used to it. My teeth have never felt better. They are smooth like I just got out of the dentist every time I brush my teeth. The normal plaque buildup that I usually get isn't there. Because of the great ingredients, I can also use it on my little one and she loves it. I'm only giving it four stars because of the bad smell. Maybe add a few more drops of essential oil to the mix? I will continue to buy this product. Incidentally, I'm switching this product with another, once all-natural, called Uncle Henry's Toothpaste. I love him too, but he's so different. Very salty, but again, it only took a few brushes to get used to it.
