Maybe it's my fault, but this stand isn't high enough. As you can see in both pictures the top of the brush is slotted properly for the brush holder but the brushes are on the counter. The second photo is like mine but very unstable and the brush falls sideways. Be sure to measure the length of the brush before purchasing. Otherwise not a bad inexpensive holder. Too bad they don't have a holder that also holds a razor other than the butterfly razor. I use an ivory-handled real razor, and yes, I trim it before I shave. Nobody seems to make a holder for such a razor.
