I've tried lots of different Apple Watch band styles. Silicone bands were stifling and sweaty. Those scrunchie style bands were bulky and got in my way. Stretchy elastic bands were either too tight or too loose, or they started out just right and loosened over time. Plus they collected dirt. And none of them really looked nice. Leather bands are pricey and I never have found them all that comfortable, plus they aren't generally water safe.Enter the magnetic mesh bands. They look just as nice in the conference room as the gym. The mesh is breathable, flexible and comfortable. The magnetic closure is secure (see below for a caveat) and infinitely adjustable so it always fits exactly as you want it. It's easy to adjust, put on and take off. No fiddling with pegs in holes, just lift the magnet, slide the watch on, and let the magnet fall into place.There are two downsides, both of which are relatively minor. After a while, the part of the band that is against my skin gets a bit discolored. It's mostly on the part that is covered by the overlapping band or at the bottom of my wrist, so it isn't all that visible, but it's there, and will eventually mean I'll retire this one to wear around the house and get a new one for going to the office. But that's after well over a year of daily wear.The other downside is that the magnet, because it is a magnet, catches on metal objects. When I open the refrigerator, quite often the magnetic latch will stick to the fridge and when I pull my hand away, the band will open. I've never had my watch fall off as a result of this. When the band opens, it gets loose, but is still completely wrapped around your wrist like a bracelet, and it is very easy to simply re-secure the latch. But it can be a bit annoying when cooking dinner or if I'm doing a lot of filing with a metal filing cabinet.Overall, though, I love this band. I spent a year trying out various watch bands, and never finding one that I really liked, until I tried this one.
