Bought these for my 2004 Subaru Forester, perfect fit! Should have bought years ago! Yes, you will need to remove the floor mats prior to installation as they will fit this way and will snag on the driver's side floor. It would not be safe to leave OEM floor mats underneath. Excellent quality, very thick, I think they will last in this Colorado weather. On the front mats is Subaru, very sharp
