Play it safe and go one size up.
We got the 2.5 size for my son. For reference, from heel to toe, his feet are about 8 inches. Size chart recommended 2.0, but we played it safe and got 2.5 since shoes can run a little small overseas. 2.5 fits him nicely. He says it's comfortable and the color scheme is very nice. No complaints here, 5-Stars!
