I bought this product to solve an interesting problem. I have recently developed tinnitus (tinnitus) in both ears. It worries me the most at night when I'm trying to sleep. This is compounded by the fact that I sleep on my side and putting my ear on the pillow blocks out outside noise making my tinnitus much more noticeable. My girlfriend uses Total Pillow for yoga and I tried it to see if it would alleviate this problem and it worked great. I can put my head down without clogging my ear! The cushion appears to be quite well made, although I can say about using a new one versus one that has been used for a while that it does seem to "lose" over time. My new girl is pretty tough compared to my partners. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, as both are handy in their own way. I plan to buy a few more of these as I haven't seen any other pillows of this type.
