Review on ๐Ÿพ Travel Soft Kennel: Petsfit Portable and Collapsible Dog Crate for Pet Owners by Elizabeth French

It's just not structurally correct. Easy to bend and break, so cute but not safe.

I had high hopes for this box. I figured it would have to have PVC or some sort of support to hold its shape. What you don't see is that if you unzip either end, it collapses completely. Now there's a small door at one end that prevents it from collapsing completely, but then it swings to the side WITHOUT the dog inside! You can leave both ends closed and take the dog out through the inner door, and that's the only way it's reasonably safe to use. four holes? The other three are mesh. Puppies especially like den or den enclosures to feel safe. To achieve this result you need to cover it with a blanket. They tricked me by showing a photo of a cloth door over a mess on one side, leading me to believe at least 3 out of 4 had the same thing. No, just that. WHY? The mesh is quite strong, but with that amount of mesh, the pup won't make him wait long before gnawing his way out. And the bigger the pup, the faster this happens. It folds easily and is easy to carry. The color is fabulous. Looks great when you've closed everything without a dog. But I put my 25lb Havanese in it and she unrolled him in minutes and then I had a dog who was scared to death trying to get out of the cage which she is now staring at with big scared eyes. I can't imagine how traumatic that would be for a puppy. The pillow that comes with it is good. The case, like the box, is very stylish. Probably because of the cost, I had high hopes for structural integrity. Cute is great, but the most important thing is that it keeps the dog safe. This is a big failure. I hope they return to the drawing board, minimal design changes are required to make this a fabulous looking cage that also fits a dog.
