Great concept but needs improvement

The idea behind this pen is good but lacks in a few key areas. The panels when assembled leave no way of making a gate or door. Therefore you must place your pet over the top to put them in the pen. When taking my pet out, I had to climb over the top myself to pick up my pup then climb back over (with pup in tow) and hope that I did not trip or fall on the way back over.Setting the panels up as a barrier renders it unstable and could easily fall over. The panels are not all shaped the same as…

Pros
  • Portable and foldable design makes it easy to transport and store
Cons
  • It may not be durable enough to withstand long-term use

Fellow Ferret Parents!

If you are like me, and were searching for a playpen for your little fuzz butts to have free roam inside of while you may be working or cannot keep a complete eye on - I do recommend this, BUTTTT with some adjustments. So originally, I set this up with the zip ties it requires for setup and it looked alright. I was really excited to try this out because it would serve as a great buffer for them to play in during my work hours. Originally, my boys got through it in like 5 minutes. They stuck…

Pros
  • Can be used for temporary housing during home renovations or moves
Cons
  • The panels may not be totally secure without additional reinforcement

Overall, pretty good

It definitely isn't the sturdiest. We have a tiny puppy. She is 15 weeks and just reached 2 pounds. But she is a climber too so we had to find something she could be put in to be kept safe when we can't be watching her.I was nervous to get this after reading the reviews but so far it has worked well for us. The panels are not the strongest feeling and when the pen is all put together it is lightweight. Definitely not made for strong or any animals larger than bunny size. She could move it…

Pros
  • Allows for easy introduction of new pets to the household
Cons
  • The door space may not be large enough for easy access

Use all the provided pieces!

We use this as an alternative to the crate. The first two days of using this my puppy popped the pen wide open with little effort, once i reinforced it with the zip ties and clips she no longer can pop a panel off.It can be easily tipped over though since its so light weight. My puppy can jump up and put her paws on the ledge and push it over easily. If you use a wall or something to block a corner of it from tipping this pen is great. Shes not big enough to jump over the panels but she tries…

Pros
  • Perfect for traveling with your furry friend
Cons
  • The material may show wear and tear quickly

It's like large sheet protectors on coat hanger frames.

It's semi-easy to assemble, but not very sturdy. We bought this for a play yard for 5 week old kittens. We actually wanted it earlier, but it took over a week for FedEx to go 2 states away from where it was picked up. It sat at the pickup location for 4 days. When we got the box, we definitely expected something more substantial for the price. My husband expected it to be solid hard plastic of some sort. It's more like 20" x 28" approx giant sheet protectors on wire coat hanger frames with…

Pros
  • Provides a space for pets to play without being underfoot
Cons
  • The product may smell bad when initially opened

Nice for temporarily training your dog, not super sturdy

I bought this so i could keep a close eye on my two puppies during the day instead of using their crates, which are upstairs away from the common areas of the house. Can quickly put them in the pen if I need to answer the door, etc. I like that I can configure the pen so I can also separate the puppies into their own side. This helps at meal time. I bought this model because it wasn’t expensive compared to the other plastic and metal pens. And because I only wanted to use it to help train my…

Pros
  • Provides a designated space for your pet to play and exercise
Cons
  • The panel joints could become loose over time

Keeps our ferrets contained!

We bought this for our ferrets and large reptiles. After reading the reviews we decided to give it a shot. My ferrets hate it. They’re SO CLOSE to escaping & getting out to cause chaos in the house, but unless they break a zip tie, they’re not getting out! There’s no more searching out corners of the house to find their mess, or to try to find the dog’s kong toy! They can push the pen around the living room, but they can’t get out! So this is a win in my book! The only reason I didn’t give it 5

Pros
  • Dogs
Cons
  • The price may be too steep for some buyers

Very good product, live the height and the variety of connectors it comes with! The only reason this product get's four stars is because the zip ties it comes with can easilly come undone, and a full-grown cat could easily jump out, this is great for guinea pigs, rabbits, kittens, maybe puppies, I bought this product for baby rats, (haven't put them in yet because i need to get new zip ties) you have to get different zip ties for it because the zip ties can easily come undone and the other…

Pros
  • PORTABLE PLAYPEN
Cons
  • It may be difficult to clean thoroughly

Buy more than you think you need

I use these Tespo-type panels to enclose foster kittens. They are very useful and versatile, and easy to store when you're not using them. However.the factory system for making the enclosure is not very practical. I use small zip ties at top, middle and bottom to secure the panels together. I keep one joint "open" and use flexible silicone twist ties there to make a gate. It's easy to open for kitten playtime and to let me get into the enclosure for litter box maintenance. The panels wipe down…

Pros
  • Ideal for pet owners with busy schedules
Cons
  • The panels might not be suitable for outdoor use due to potential rusting

My bunnies love it!

I bought this pen because my bunnies were spending too much time in their litter boxes in their cramped cage, one of them started getting waste caked on his rear end. The pen has now taken place of the cage, and we all love it! Looks a lot nicer, they can get more exercise, and I can let them run around even if I’m not in my room to watch them. Sorry if it’s a mess in there, we’ll hopefully get it cleaned up and put a real floor in soon. If you have rabbits who jump a lot, I’d build it with the

Pros
  • Playpens
Cons
  • The size of the panels may not be practical for your needs

Does what it is supposed to do

First, I have to say I would not have purchased this if I had known it was made in China. Aside from this, it seems to do what it is meant to do - and the kids love it. It is made out of a flexible plastic, which is light weight and easy to wipe off. If your kids are going to climb on it, it is going to get torn up pretty quickly. It is very easy to put together, which means it is very easy to take apart. It came apart when I moved it across the room, but it was easily put back together. In…

Pros
  • Provides a comfortable and safe space for your pet to sleep
Cons
  • The height of the panels may not be adjustable

NOT for untrained puppies

This product wasn’t quite what I was hoping. Maybe I was hoping for too much to try it with a 9wk old lab puppy. While the pictures show a dog sitting inside the pen, these will not work unless your pup already has respect for barriers. The panels are extremely light weight so as soon as my boy nudged it with his paw, he quickly realized that he could slide the whole pen across the floor without trouble. I would also recommend using the zip ties only to construct the pen as the little clips…

Pros
  • Can also be used for rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small animals
Cons
  • The size may not be suitable for multiple animals

Great for Small Supervised Puppies

I live in a small apartment and was about to get a puppy. I wanted a small area I could keep clean during house training where the puppy could play. I didn't get this with the intention of leaving my pup unsupervised; I also did not want something crazy heavy or expensive. So this was perfect for my needs. I plan to get some more panels to cover a small gap on my balcony from the wall to the floor so I can have the puppy out there without worry.I would not get this for a bigger breed (I am…

Pros
  • Pet Supplies
Cons
  • The weight might be too heavy for some buyers to lift or move

I ordered two of these and I got two different panels. The first set arrived (shipped without Prime) came with a hole in the middle of the panel to zip tie and make sturdier. The second set (shipped with Prime and paying $8 more) came without that hole and are not as sturdy. They are listed as the same product but shipped different methods. I would suggest if you're considering buying these that you take that into account because you'll be paying more for something that is not as good. That…

Pros
  • Easy to set up and take down without any tools
Cons
  • It may not be able to withstand harsh weather conditions if used outside

Great for about a month

These panels are ok for about a month. They scratch up easily. I am using it for teacup Yorkie puppies. It’s hard to slide both panels into the black clips. It takes 2 people to hold both panels. I had to zip tie most of them because after the clips have been on and off a few times they become loose. The worst part is that they bend at the top very easily and there is no way to straighten them again. Most of my panels now are bent so I have had to zip tie them all up the long way with extra…

Pros
  • Perfect for pet owners with limited space
Cons
  • The panels may not be strong enough for larger animals to push around

Don’t waste your money

I bought this for a foster kitten. It was frustrating to setup and super flimsy. The kitten barely jumped on it and it feel over.

Pros
  • Panels are designed to withstand chewing and scratching
Cons
  • The panels may develop sharp edges or corners over time

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Disappointed in the quality

Putting this together was pretty easy. Once in place it would be easy to move around, however I was disappointed in the quality of the panel as I thought it was a thicker type of plastic but it's very thin and would probably not last very long.

Pros
  • HASSLE-FREE ASSEMBLE
Cons
  • It might not be suitable for larger animals

Revainrating 4 out of 5

gaps between panels and floor

You get what you pay for. The panels do the job. Each panel connects to the others on the corners and you need to zip tie the middle pieces to close the gaps. There's a huge half inch gap between the panels and the floor, so my rabbit can still kick hay and poop out. Would be great for a larger animal.

Pros
  • Provides a safe and secure environment for small pets
Cons
  • Small animals may be able to escape between the panels

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Flimsy for jumpers on my review.

Assembled fairly easy, lightweight, adjustable. It is pretty flimsy so if your critter is a jumper, it will not keep them contained well.

Pros
  • Provides a protected outdoor space for pets to enjoy fresh air and sunshine
Cons
  • The panels might not be suitable for more extensive use or daily use

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Great idea but not for jumping pups

We got this for my 1 year dog . We use it only at night so he does not chew up things and he was easily breaking out of it. Maybe a calmer dog or other animal will do better

Pros
  • Can be used for training and obedience work
Cons
  • The product might take up too much space when packed away for storage
