First, I have to say I would not have purchased this if I had known it was made in China. Aside from this, it seems to do what it is meant to do - and the kids love it. It is made out of a flexible plastic, which is light weight and easy to wipe off. If your kids are going to climb on it, it is going to get torn up pretty quickly. It is very easy to put together, which means it is very easy to take apart. It came apart when I moved it across the room, but it was easily put back together. In short, it does what it is supposed to do. I put a basket in each cubby with a specific type of toy (one basket for tinker toys, one for Lincoln logs, one for playdough, etc.), and this makes it easy for the grandkids to clean up the playroom. They like the animal pictures. I don't know how long the plastic will last, but it looks like it would be easy to replace it with a stronger fabric when it does give out. It is basically a wire frame with the plastic wrapped around it. I do like the versatility to build this in any configuration. In short, the price was right and it will do the intended job.
