The idea behind this pen is good but lacks in a few key areas. The panels when assembled leave no way of making a gate or door. Therefore you must place your pet over the top to put them in the pen. When taking my pet out, I had to climb over the top myself to pick up my pup then climb back over (with pup in tow) and hope that I did not trip or fall on the way back over.Setting the panels up as a barrier renders it unstable and could easily fall over.The panels are not all shaped the same as the rectangle panels are "bowed in” to various degrees which poses an issue when trying to attach the plastic clasps in the middle. Once you get the clasps on the middle of the panels, they will stretch and pop off so,the manufacturer has also included a bag of white zip ties to replace the plastic clasps. The zip ties really cheapen the look of the pen in my opinion and also gives my pup something to try and reach for and chew on, even if I do cut the tail of the zip tie off.The black connectors are very snug and while difficult to attach them the lightweight wire frame they seem to hold the corners together very well.Overall:The panels need a better way of attaching them together in the middle and the frame needs to be more uniform. Possibly adding 2 or 3 places in the middle instead of just the one to hold the panels together along with making sure the frame is not bowed in the middle.One of the pictures that the manufacturer has on their description page shows a pen with what looks like a door or gate that is open. This is misleading. After the item arrived I realized that the connectors do not allow the panels to "move” as they are not hinged. If this is going to be displayed as a pen with a "doorway” then it needs to have a set of connectors that will provide the ability to make a moveable gate or door.Overall:In my opinion, great concept for the price but needs previously mentioned improvements. The manufacturer did refund my money without issues to which I am very grateful.
