I received the candle in a box in the box the candle was in the protective bubble wrap and the jar had a chunk broke out of the top edge which I sliced my finger on. I did not realize the jar was broken until after I opened up the bubble wrap and cut myself. It looked like the candle had been stored upside down in a hot space.
