The Ring Doorbell 2 was installed up on stairs so I had to use the wedge that pointed down that came with the doorbell. Because of this, the screws that came with the doorbell was not long enough to use with the antiglare . After a trip to the hardware store to get screws that are long enough, I was able to install the doorbell. The cover works great in rain, keeping rain off of the camera.

After I purchased the Ring Doorbell, it sat for months, as my door frame was too narrow. I ordered this months later, and within the hour of receiving it the doorbell was up. It is perfect, and I'd recommend even if your door frame is wide enough for the Ring.

Allowed me to change my viewing angle in a tight corner at the back of my house. Really did the trick. Like I said in the subject, my only "complaint" would be in addition to right/left, I wish it allowed for some up/down adjustment as well.

The best money I’ve spent in a while. The glare from my front light made the Ring virtually useless at night. This solved the problem. See the before and after. It’s amazing.

Wish it came with long screws but can easily purchase. easy install but we have stucco which makes it less ideal but not an issue of the product

This was perfect for installing the Ring, which is pretty wide on a narrow section of trim. Sturdy, well-made, and very quick to install.

It’s honestly a great product. It was sturdy and looked easy to install if you are solely placing the ring doorbell on it. Unfortunately it does not work with the wedge attachment that comes with the ring doorbell 2. I have a rock surface and needed to be able to use both. Though I returned it I would still recommend it.

If your putting it on curtain siding it wont move had to put other stuff behind it so its not looking at the deck roof and not where its supposed to be but also dont know how it all works cause dont have wifi yet in my new house.

I had 2” of door frame space to mount my ring doorbell 2 and this bracket (1.78”) fit perfectly. I had to chisel some molding to provide a flat surface so that it could mount flat. I liked it so much that I purchased a second one for another ring doorbell 2 at another door.

When my Ring doorbell arrived, it was obviously not going to fit in the place my old doorbell was; the trim was just too narrow. One of the highly rated reviews said this was good solution for narrow trim. It is.

Perfect mount for a awkward doorway. Just as described. Follow all installation instructions and you will have no problems.

Not much to add, except that the kit also includes a rubber grommet to protect the wires that come out of the doorbell, should you choose to hard wire your RING doorbell. In my case the casing around the door was too narrow and was hard against a brick wall. By using this mount we were able to easily attach it as the mounting plate is about 1/3 narrower than the back plate of the Ring. Works well to keep rain off the lens, causing motion alerts. If you are using a Pro2 doorbell, this is a bit oversized. I used the adapter plate that came with the doorbell on top of this shield to make the appearance better.

We used this product to help the Ring doorbell attach to our door frame, as the brick didn't allow the Ring enough room. Luckily, this product worked perfectly just to give us a little extra space so now the doorbell is successfully installed and we have never been happier!

Just what I was looking for to mount on the thinner door molding that the original doorbell was on. the factory Ring mount was too wide for the trim around the door. this mounts great and adds adjustability.

Still wasn’t narrow enough for my situation so had to hacksaw some of one side away and it fit nicely. Don’t let the description fool you, this does NOT fit ring 2. Could only use one screw hole and Gorilla glued the rest. This will work fine and you can’t see it but it’s not what I paid for. Wrench to hold nut while tightening mount bold is too large as ring will not swivel out of the way enough. I used needle nose pliers.
