Very pretty size was large but I ordered it two big but kept it anyway. I am wheelchair bound and thought I would need the room to help cover my legs. I use this thing almost daily and am very happy with the mechanics. I'm 5ft 7in tall and have no problems with the stride. It feels sturdy enough - I have it sitting on thick plywood with a rubber shop mat on top so I'm sure that stabilizes it more than being on carpet.
