It goes on smoothly and provides a lovely color that complements my wife's skin tone. It's indeed a matte finish, but it doesn't dry out lips. I like that it's not super shiny. Not sure I picked the right color for me, although it works, so I'll probably have to get another shade!I have not worn lipstick for years, but do use a lot of moisturizing balm. I gave up because lipsticks usually come off in minutes when I put them on and look smudgy on me.I'm not a fan of the heavy, glossy look, which this definitely is not. I get enough color with a matte finish and it stays on well and doesn't look smudged.Off to pick out another color!

This PERIPERA INK MOOD MATTE STICK is an interesting formula. It feels like a whipped gel and traditional lipstick combined. I have very deep lines in my lips, so I need a thick formula that fills in those lines without looking caked on. This formula does that for me. My lips look smooth and soft. When I press my lips together during the day, the color seems to be re-hydrated. It is a soft matte finish without being drying.

This lippy looked like a good choice for times I wanted a bit of color but didn't want to do full on makeup. It fits that bill nicely. This lipstick is very long lasting - like hours and hours! It goes on smoothly, but I couldn't call the texture moisturizing. I have had plenty of lipsticks way more moisturizing than this one. Also the color was much brighter than I expected based on the color shown.

This is a really soft and creamy Mood Matte Stick! It feels so good on my lips. It’s a soft pink color. The only problem is that it doesn’t last. It doesn’t last very long at all! So, I don’t use it for color, I use it for the soft creamy feel. Keeps my lips moisturized.

This is a lovely soft, sheer matte lipstick. It's not super pigmented so you can build it up as desired, which I much prefer. It is not overly drying but is a true matte. I only wish it had a bit better longevity. The frosted case is so, so cute! Very on par with most k-beauty cosmetics that have the best packaging.
