Not bad for the price

Not bad for the price. It looks quite realistic, especially if you mount it high where it is not so easy to distinguish a fake. Buying 2 rechargeable batteries costs about 50% more to get it working properly but is still pretty cheap for the effect. We have 30 of these installed in commercial buildings and they have been running for a few months now. First, I covered all the seams at the top with sealing compound, otherwise water would get into the battery compartment (there are no seals from the box, although the solar cell is glued in place). , which seems to work as a good seal). Also, on some devices, the battery compartments are too small to hold the batteries and you actually have to clamp them in. there. Luckily you can tell by the light if the batteries are in the right place and making good contact because on some of them they don't make good contact with the ends of the compartment when I put the batteries in and I have to manipulate them to get the right contact . Position. Out of 30, the only one I've got so far is that the solar cell doesn't seem to be powering the LED at all - very simple wiring, but that's why I didn't investigate further to find out why it didn't work. Overall pretty good for the price and seems like a good deterrent. The flashing light is nice and bright at night and very noticeable (good thing).
