My tortoiseshell cat developed a bladder infection after a stressful moving between states and adjusting to a new home. After the vet determined there was no infection and after a medical shot that only worked for a month, I decided to give it a try. I added some wet food to it first which she didn't mind but my girls don't get wet food that often to give her that much so I tried just putting some powder in her extra water bowl and it worked . Big. She drinks it and even started notifying me when it's time to change it (in water, it settles to the bottom after a day or so and becomes runny; molds quickly too, so make sure to change it regularly switch). And most importantly, it really helps. She pits less often and the rides she takes are finally draining a decent amount of fluid instead of dripping a little every twenty minutes or so. I was gone for the weekend and my husband forgot to change the water for the powder and even after a few days without him she started running a lot and producing little again so now I have to re-dose her. She was so excited when I changed it and gave it back to her that she started drinking right away. I think she knows it helps. I recommend trying this out to see if it helps your cat!
