Review on Certified Splitter Lightning Headphone Compatible by George Thorson

I've had other cheap adapters/splitters over the years including one my husband got as a promotional item at a conference (so probably not high quality) and they've all been fine . They worked. Hooray. So I figured that would work too. No, that is not so. At best, a low, constant static hum can be heard. At worst, the noise is so distracting that I can't deal with it. If I switch all bits off and on again, or even just wiggle the connection points, I can reduce the interference to a quiet, tolerable hum. I didn't have this problem with my previous adapter, same phone, same headphones and same external battery, so I'm pretty sure the adapter is the problem. Maybe I just got a defective one, but at the moment I can't recommend this product. However, it does charge my phone while my headphones are on, hence two stars for that.
