I was using a very old seeding kit that I got from the hotel and I really needed something better. I was a bit hesitant because I saw some negative reviews which I don't understand because now that it's arrived it's a pretty cool kit. There are many more tools here that I would use (if that's a criticism). It measures 11" x 8" x 2" so maybe a little big for traveling but makes a lovely gift. It comes in a sleek black case with a good zip closure. There are good scissors, 36 large spools of thread in different colors, a bundle of needles in a plastic case to keep them from hanging around, a small pincushion and luckily 2 of these to help you thread the needle (there could be more). There is a small magnifying glass that could be a bit bigger. If you're like me and just need to do some light seeding from time to time to fix a few things here and there, this is a great one.
