This is a nice kit. I had a problem with the needles bending and the company immediately sent me new needles to replace the bent ones. They also asked for my input on how to make the kit better. Just for the fact they really wanted to put out a good product I am giving them a super #5 rating. It was so nice to have a company that wanted to make my life better in the smallest of ways. Kudos.

When it first arrived, the box was so small I thought, well, wait a minute, I thought there was more to it than this.There was! They have just mastered the art of packing things (which I have not LOL)!The set is super nice. The bag is a little cheap but the set is going in my tool box anyway. I have small hands and these tools fit them perfectly. I don't like the big, bulky kind. Nice quality, nice set, a lot included, yup, pretty awesome deal!

This is clearly a budget set of tools. The roller wheels all wobble a bit and the awls aren't quite straight. However for the price I don't think you're going to find better. The thread is good and solid and the needles work really well for a saddle stitch. While you do get a good number of tools, many of them are completely useless or very badly made.- The scissors are pretty dull and not very useful for cutting leather or thread.- the stitch groover is useless. It gets clogged constantly and barely draws a straight line.- the 6ho/inch stitch spacer is flimsy. It does not draw in a straight line and wobbles on the axis.- the thimble is very very poorly made and scratchyThe needles and thread are well made but I could have easily only bought those

Great little starter kit with everything I needed to get started and learn with. I've used almost everything already and the gear is holding to my usage and n00b fingers and pressures.

Would have been nice to have a more comprehensive direction sheet for each tool with it but other than the product itself was very high quality and i am going to enjoy learing a new skill with these tools.

Great deal for its price point, it truly has everything you need to get started with any leather project.Each individual piece would run you $6 - $18 each, yet you get a whole set for the price of one piece!Make sure to use the included finger guards to ensure you don't poke yourself with the needle.There were some issues with the quality of the 2 punches, and you might want to add extra cushion or padding on the extra pokey tools to ensure they don't stab you through the case.

Was a little expensive for the quality of tools. I would’ve at least liked to have gotten a pricking iron, but overall it works great.

Great price for the items. The awls are better than much more expensive ones I've used, however, the stitch groover and scissors aren't sharp enough to do the job well. Still worth the price.

Good kit for beginners and good value for the money. Some of the tools are on the cheaper side, but work. The needles are not good and will break on you.

I have enjoyed using the items included in the package. I would have liked a scissor or blade that cuts through 14 ounce leather. But I like the stitch roller and other items.

Arrived in the time quoted. One draw back is the groover needs sharpened (that’s what was told to me, ordered for someone else).

Really great starter kit. I highly recommend getting some actual leather scissors though because the ones that come with it are total crap. The tools are cheap, but they definitely get the job done.

Awesome value for price. Yes, some of it is cheaply made, but for 20.00 what do you expect. If you are looking for professional quality go pay for it. for myself I was surprised at the packed contents of the box. It will suit my needs. If some pieces do not hold up you will know what to look for when you up-grade.

I was so excited to receive this starter kit. After reviewing several other leather starter kits, this one seemed to be the best value for the most essential tools. The only thing is that there wasn't a burnishing tool included. besides that highly recommend for anyone interested in starting leather work!

Generally good tools. The scorer is not that sharp and the snippers are weak. I did not consider the snippers in the purchase. Everything else is what makes this useful for general leather repairs. If you have to do anything with thick leather, also consider purchasing a puncher.

The tools are sharp, string is good. However, scissors do NOT work. Better to just buy a box cutter. Thimble and leather thumb/finger cover (only one thumb cover fits) do not fit, and my fingers are pretty thin, so you pretty much have to have kid hands in order make one of them work.Overall, for people starting out, they are worth it. But if you are really into leather working, then it may be better to upgrade.

This is a great value! Its hard to believe how much you get in this kit for the price. I plan to use this kit to modify/shorten straps on Dooney Florentine vachetta leather handbags. I think the leather may be too think to risk running it through a home sewing machine. In the past I would take the straps to a luggage repair shop, but I think I might be able to get a better result by stitching them myself by hand. These tools will be essential.
