My minimum standard for a gear bag is "over the top". This bag exceeds that standard and lives up to my ideal of "ridiculously redesigned". It seems that every seam in this bag is reinforced and every surface has a soft lining. The zips are solid YKK with attached pull tabs, and the shoulder strap is wide with comfortable padding and strong twist buckles. The bag also has plenty of drawstrings and all compartments have velcro or zippers to keep things in place. The bag also comes with a rain cover that goes with everything. Inside the pocket is another pocket. The entire interior is removable as one unit and has an integrated handle for this purpose. This makes it easy to quickly change the entire download at once. The interior has a number of thoughtful details. There are 7 removable inner dividers, all soft. There are two rubber bands to securely attach the lens to one of the dividers. There are also 2 detachable buckle straps for security and quick access. All inner pockets are colour-coded and the dividers have additional colored Velcro markings. The lid of the bag can either be folded behind the bag or left open with detachable straps. This is a feature I'm going to love as I like both options in different conditions.
