I'm in love with this bag! It is exactly like in the photo. I've been using it every day for a month and haven't noticed any wear and tear. You can see the quality immediately: no foreign smells, sufficient weight, beautiful seams. This is not a briefcase: this is a handbag or small bag. The strap is adjustable and can be worn over the shoulder, which I like. It's deceptively compact: I was blown away by how much I could fit in this bag! Plus it's great!
