Five months of use update!Hello . This is a quick note to express how very pleased I am with the utility, and quality, of this well made cable.I have been using it regularly to charge my iPhone XR for the past five months and I have come to appreciate the smart design, durability, and most importantly the ergonomics of the cable’s connectors. I say this because my phone is protected by/entombed in an Otterbox "Defender” two piece case that is quite thick. The Otterbox’s access opening to the lightning plug receptacle is deep and has a thick "porthole door” that must be kept out of the way when inserting or removing the charging cable. Simply put, it can take a bit to get the lightning cable connector inserted properly into this deep recess and this is where this cable excels. The rubberized collar that surrounds the cable’s end connectors is well shaped, and long enough for me to easily grasp and maneuver with accuracy. I can immediately get a secure grip on the cable’s lightning connector (end) and securely insert into my iPhone without ever missing. It’s one of those small things that makes a person happy ‘cause it works perfectly, with zero fuss, every time.The takeaway here is that I believe that the folks who designed this cable thoroughly thought it through and the manufacture did an equally excellent job. It is an excellent, well made, interconnect and a great value for the price. I would not hesitate to recommend it to a family member or friend.====================I am very pleased with this Apple "Lighting” ready charger cable for a few reasons. They are:- On taking this Lightning ready cable out of the packaging I was impressed with the attractiveness of its royal blue plus red woven covering, its flexible constructIon and its easy drape in my hand. Without meaning to have this sound silly, this is a very sharp looking cable;- And, speaking of construction . both the USB and Lightning connectors are collared with easy to grasp, well made, rubberized grips that extend down each cable end one inch to secure/protect the plug-to-cable connections. The USB and Lightning connectors themselves are nicely finished and look fine under close examination. I found zero flaws with both cables in this two pack. And, lastly .- The fact that this cable comes with the "MFi” (Made for iPhone) accreditation for Apple accessories is a definite plus. This certification validates the quality of its manufacture and its compatibility with Apple’s products. For me, it is an added value that brings its own peace of mind.That being said, in conclusion . I am very happy with every aspect of this USB/Lightning cable and I am very comfortable giving it a solid recommendation and a big "thumbs up”.
