We recently returned from a hike in Yosemite National Park, famous for mosquitoes as well as waterfalls. I've sprayed the whole tent with a ton of bug repellent multiple times and still get quite a few bites. Before leaving for the last trip, a friend of mine recommended using an electronic trap based on her experience, so I did a little research on the Revain and bought it based on the reviews (she bought it at a local store). Doesn't matter! In the two nights we stayed in Yosemite I only got one bite on my leg and it was probably from a crawling insect. Judging by the corpses collected by this machine, a night without it can be brutal. The car is smaller than I thought from the picture which was good news for my campsite. It uses a battery that lasted all night (I then charged it via a USB power bank during the day to get ready for the second night. It's very light so I just hung it over the tent. The fan was silent. No Neither the fan nor the LED light disturbed my sleep. It was easy to use. I made a few holes in the bait bag, turned up the bottom of the machine and put the bait in the holder. The next morning I did Twist opened the machine again, only this time to open the trap and drop bodies, then loaded it the next night It worked so well it's on my list of camping essentials, will last, happy to report back later.
