The design of this bag has changed, but not for the better. I have this bag (old design) in blue and I really like it. So I decided to order it in black. When it arrived, I immediately noticed a couple of annoying design changes. First the front zipper is gone. It's been replaced with this stiff flap that sticks out and is difficult to latch. It also increases the weight of the bag. Second, the width is slightly less, maybe half an inch. Enough to make it too small for the things I used to wear in blue. Third, since the width is a bit narrower, it's now difficult to keep the back door closed. Fourth, the belt has now become a thinner seat belt. Material, as opposed to the same durable material as the bag. Also, the bag looks cheap. Fifth, the belt is no longer attached to the bag with twist clips. Rather, it attaches directly to the bag and prevents the strap from rotating comfortably. And it also makes the bag cheap. Sixth, the bag is about 2.5 cm shorter, further reducing the space in the bag. This bag is so popular and highly acclaimed, why would any manufacturer make these crazy design changes? To make production cheaper?
