Don't waste your money on this, use Shark disposable towels. I read a review from another person that suggested using Shark pads and damn they were right. Finally, I'm not throwing away Swifter — it's not a "machine" or detergent, it's pads. The Swifter pads don't seem to make 100% contact with your ground as there is no dirt at all on much of the pad while the Shark pad is completely covered in dirt. If you get streaks, Swifter says you're not using enough detergent or need to use more pads. Trust me, the first part of the floor with Swifter pads was striped. I have used the Shark rug throughout the house and there was not a single streak anywhere. The Swifter "mop" is really good and comfortable and works really well with the Shark Pad.
