I think it was bigger than I thought it would be, but it still fit in my carry-on and was a good size. It's perfect for hanging Instax Mini photos! We hung it for a bachelorette party and added photos throughout the event. It arrived well packaged and protected. On the back, however, there was a screw sticking out of the front. So if you are concerned about quality or giving it to children, this may be a reason for caution. For the price it didn't really matter. Barely noticeable. Some of the wooden clips were crushed in transit so it took a bit of finishing work to straighten them out. Although it was expected.
