I have suffered from neck, shoulder and upper back pain (due to poor posture) for about 6 years. I have tried almost every type of ergonomic chair on the market. For some reason none of the chairs helped (I even tried sitting on an exercise ball). My body somehow always finds a way to bend down. I've gone so far as to stick sticky notes on the table to remind myself to sit up straight, but to no avail. I keep my monitors at eye level and even have my eyesight checked to make sure I'm leaning forward due to vision issues. My eyesight was perfect and I was holding the guy quite tall so I knew it had to be bad posture. The pain was so severe that I was about to see a chiropractor when a colleague (who also suffers from similar problems) brought me an ergonomic kneeling chair. I tried their chair and fell in love with it. It's almost impossible for me to bend. When I have to move or bend down to get closer to a monitor or printer, the chair somehow forces me to use my core instead of leaning on my neck. I immediately went and bought this chair.
