I wasn't sure what size to go for, I recently cut my hair to about 8 inches so my hair was significantly shorter. I tried another round comb and it got so tangled in my hair I was afraid I'd have to cut it off. This brush suits me very well. It added body and didn't get tangled in my hair. I actually used the warm setting in my dryer instead of the high temperature. I am satisfied and can recommend this brush. My hair isn't quite shoulder length and is a bit thin, but I have a lot of it. I parted my hair into strands, starting at the back of my head first. *** A colleague said that the day after I used the brush, I felt like I had an accident at work.
